Label Size Selection Guide

Your labels, cut your way.

 

To make the ordering process as easy as possible, we have provided a step by step guide, accompanied by some examples.

 

Step 1: select an approximate label size for your label. You don't need to be exact here, we'll sure this up during the proofing process. The approximate sizing enables us to provide a price for ordering online; each size range has a pricing associated with it, which has been multiplied by the quantity of labels selected. You can tell us your desired/exact sizing for your label at Step 4. 

 

Step 2: select how many labels you want to order at that size range. This is the quantity of individual labels, not the quantity of sheets; the amount of sheets will be determined during the proofing process based on the label size and quantity desired. 

 

Step 3: upload the file for your label. This can be in any one of the following formats: .eps .jpg .jpeg .png .pdf. You may need to compress your file first as the maximum upload size is 20MB.

 

Step 4: if desired, you can provide an exact size of the width and height to use. Please provide these measurements in millimetres (mm). Leave this text box blank if you're happy for us to suggest a sizing during the proofing process. This will be an optimal size based on your uploaded label file, the label size and the label quantity that you have selected. You may also provide any additional details that you think will assist when preparing your labels in the proofing process.

 

Examples:

Example 1: your circle or square label you want printing has a size of 29mm x 29mm. 

Here, both the height and the width of the label are closest to the 25mm x 25mm size selection. Please select the size range "25mm x 25mm". Also, if you don't want your logo scaling down to 25mm x 25mm, please outline the width and height measurements in the "Desired Label Size" text box provided. The width and height measurements should be the same for a circle or square label.

 

Example 2: your circle or square label you want printing has a size of 40mm x 40mm. 

Even though the width and height of your label are smaller than than the closest size in the provided selection, please always choose the closest sizing. Please select the size range "50mm x 50mm". Also, if you don't want your logo scaling up to 50mm x 50mm, please outline the width and height measurements in the "Desired Label Size" text box provided. The width and height measurements should be the same for a circle or square label.

 

Example 3: your rectangle label you want printing has a size of 85mm x 40mm. 

The width and height values are not best suited to any of the size options provided. Here you should look to choose the closest match. Please select the size range "75mm x 50mm". then, if you want to maintain the exact rectangular shape of your label, please provide the exact measurements in the "Desired Label Size" text box provided.

Your labels will be printed on 225mm x 300mm sheets. Below is a reference to the number of sheets you will receive based on the label measurements shown on the left of the table and the desired quantity of label to the top of the table.
