Custom Shape Label Sheet Sizing Guide

Your labels, cut your way.

 

Sometimes a custom shape label is just better than a circular or square label. It offers a shape unique to your branding, design or message. 

 

To make the ordering process as easy as possible, we have provided a step by step guide, accompanied by some examples.

 

Step 1: select an approximate label size range. This value refers to either the height or the width of your label, whichever is the biggest value. You don't need to be exact here, we'll sure this up during the proofing process. The approximate sizing enables us to provide a price for ordering online; each size range has a pricing associated with it, which has been multiplied by the quantity of labels selected. You can tell us your desired/exact sizing for your label at Step 4. 

 

Step 2: select how many labels you want to order at that size range. This is the quantity of individual labels, not the quantity of sheets; the amount of sheets will be determined during the proofing process based on the label size and quantity desired. 

 

Step 3: upload the file for your label. This can be in any one of the following formats: .eps .jpg .jpeg .png .pdf. You may need to compress your file first as the maximum upload size is 20MB.

 

Step 4: if desired, you can provide an exact size of the width and height to use. Please provide these measurements in millimetres (mm). Leave this text box blank if you're happy for us to suggest a sizing during the proofing process. This will be an optimal size based on your uploaded label file, the label size and the label quantity that you have selected. You may also provide any additional details that you think will assist when preparing your labels in the proofing process.

 

Examples:

Example 1: your custom label you want printing has a size of 32mm x 45mm. 

Here, both the height and the width of the label fall neatly into the 26mm to 50mm size range. Please select the size range "26mm-50mm". 

 

Example 2: your custom label you want printing has a size of 40mm x 65mm. 

Even though one value is smaller than than the size range provided, please use the biggest value to deteremine the sizing. Please select the size range "51mm-75mm"

 

Example 3: your custom label you want printing has a size of 21mm x 94mm. 

Again, even though one value falls into the smallest range (<25mm), the biggest value sits within the 76mm-100mm range, please use the biggest value to deteremine the sizing. Please select the size range "76mm-100mm".

Your labels will be printed on 225mm x 300mm sheets. Below is a reference to the number of sheets you will receive based on the label measurements shown on the left of the table and the desired quantity of label to the top of the table.
